The Jeeves Omnibus
2025 / ILLUSTRATION
P.G. Wodehouse was a virtuoso of the wisecrack, but his book covers are, for the most part, utter rubbish. My copy of the Jeeves Omnibus left much to be desired—and so I took it upon myself to reinvigourate it. Should I have been concieved nearer to the time of publishing, I am sure that the existing cover would have been expiditiously replaced, with the superiority of my approach being viscerally apparent. The peculiar dynamic of our beloved Jeeves & Wooster is here on full display, prepared to entice even the least literate shop-lurker into a spontaneous purchase of Wodehouse's prose. Of course, only a fool would judge a book by its cover—and indeed I purchased a copy despite the woeful trappings—but is it not also the case that, having read a book entirely, any reader would yearn for a cover that matches their ardor of the tome?
Read the wonderous writing of Wodehouse.
